On 23 January of the current year, a working workshop was held with the participation of representatives of the Uztextileprom Association, the representative of the German textile association Gesamtmasche, Ms. Silvia Jungbauer, and the international expert Mr. Sven Eriskat. The workshop was organized as part of the preparation for the second phase of the GUz Partners project, implemented with the support of Gesamtmasche.
The event served as an important platform for discussing the next steps of cooperation, strategic priorities, and the format of joint work for the upcoming period.

The main objective of the workshop was to develop a shared vision for the project’s development in its second phase, as well as to discuss a three-year cooperation strategy between the partners. During the meeting, key areas of future activities, coordination and interaction mechanisms, and the partners’ expectations regarding the project’s implementation in the medium term were reviewed.
Special attention was given to issues of sustainable development, improving the effectiveness of cooperation with textile industry enterprises, and strengthening institutional capacity. Participants discussed possible formats for joint activities, including training programs, advisory sessions, workshops, and other support instruments.
The workshop featured an open and constructive exchange of views. Representatives of the Uztextileprom Association actively shared their proposals, practical recommendations, and visions for the further development of the project. All ideas and comments expressed were carefully considered and will be taken into account for integration into the work plan of the second phase of the project.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of close and regular interaction among all stakeholders, as well as on the need for a coordinated approach to the implementation of planned activities. It was noted that joint efforts and continuous dialogue are key factors for the successful implementation of the project in Uzbekistan.
The workshop confirmed the high level of interest of all parties in continuing and deepening cooperation. The outcomes of the discussions and the proposals collected during the meeting will form the basis for the further development of a detailed action plan and strategic steps for the next three years.
