Working Visit of GESAMTMASCHE Representatives in Uzbekistan to Kashkadarya Region.

As part of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experience in the textile industry, in the framework of GUZ partners, on 11/08/2025 a working visit of representatives of the GESAMTMASCHE in Uzbekistan took place in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya Region.

The visit program began with official negotiations at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Kashkadarya Region. The meeting was attended by the heads of the regional branch of the CCI. Discussions focused on current issues in the development of the region’s textile industry, prospects for exporting finished products to the European market, and opportunities for organizing joint projects and training programs. Special attention was given to the interests of local enterprises in implementing modern technologies, improving product quality, and obtaining international certification.

Also was held a meeting with the head of the Regional Center for Education and Innovation. The parties exchanged views on the prospects for training qualified personnel for the textile sector, introducing innovative solutions into production processes, and developing educational programs with international participation.

As part of the visit, GESAMTMASCHE representatives also toured the leading textile enterprises of the region:

• Indorama Agro – one of the largest agro-industrial enterprises, where discussions covered the cultivation of high-quality cotton raw materials, environmental standards, and sustainable production.
• Sultontex Group – a company specializing in knitwear and finished garments, where the focus was on increasing productivity and improving enterprise management.
• Sanam – a manufacturer of workwear, where dialogue centered on international market requirements and certification.
• Hilal Tex – a yarn producer, with discussions on expanding the product range and entering new foreign markets.
• SafCo – a workwear manufacturer, where the talks addressed cooperation opportunities with German brands, production expansion, and certification.

The working visit to Karshi became an important step in developing Uzbek-German cooperation in the textile sector, opening new horizons for joint projects, experience exchange, and the introduction of innovative production solutions. The agreements reached during the visit will lay the foundation for further productive interaction between enterprises in the Kashkadarya Region and their German partners.
