From August 25 to 29, 2025, a five-day seminar on dyeing textile materials was held in Uzbekistan under the guidance of international expert Matthias Koch. The program was organized as part of the collaboration between Uzbek enterprises and international partners and covered key cities and leading factories in the textile industry.
🔹 August 25, Fergana — Program kickoff: welcoming participants, introducing the seminar objectives, and an overview of dyeing technology and equipment.
🔹 August 26–28, Namangan — Practical sessions and lectures at enterprises such as Aisha Home Textile, Toshbulok Tex, NT Holding, and others.
• Pre-treatment and its standards,
• Dyeing of textile material substances,
• Practical trials,
• Reactive dyeing and error analysis during the process.
🔹 August 29, Samarkand — Final day at SET enterprise: dispersion dyeing, common mistakes, and practical exercises.
Over five days, participants mastered:
• Modern technologies and equipment for dyeing,
• Methods for controlling authenticity and quality of pre-treatment,
• Practices for dyeing various types of substances,
• Reactive and dispersion dyeing with analysis of typical errors,
• Skills development in real production conditions.
The seminar allowed participants to combine theoretical knowledge with practical testing directly at operating enterprises, making the training as applicable as possible. Participants gained not only technical skills but also recommendations for improving dyeing process efficiency, enhancing product quality, and implementing international standards.
The five-day intensive course led by Matthias Koch became a valuable contribution to the development of competencies among specialists in Uzbekistan’s textile industry. Conducting the program across different regions and at leading enterprises enabled participants to exchange experiences, strengthen connections, and observe real production solutions, creating a foundation for further growth and innovation implementation.
As part of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experience in the textile industry, in the framework of GUZ partners, a working visit of representatives of the GESAMTMASCHE in Uzbekistan took place in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya Region.
From August 25 to 29, 2025, a unique five-day training on fashion design was held at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, led by renowned German designer and educator Robert Herzog. The event was organized as part of the GUZ Partners project, with the support of the German Textile Association GESAMTMASCHE, and became an important milestone for the Uzbek fashion industry and education.
