This week provided our team with a unique opportunity to meet with outstanding specialists from various corners of Europe, marking an important step in the development of our project. Together with Silvia Jungbauer, the director of Gesamtmasche e.V., Oana Steopan, project manager from “Sequa,” and Ingrid Portenkirchner from DC dVET and project coordinator in Uzbekistan Malika Akramova we held productive meetings. These meetings opened new horizons for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
During this visit, we also had the chance to engage with participants of the TOT program. We listened to their impressions, ideas, and next steps for achieving better results.
We also visited the Fergana and Namangan regions. During our meetings with representatives of local enterprises, we discussed current issues and challenges facing the textile sector. We exchanged ideas on how to improve production processes, enhance product quality, and implement sustainable practices.
Special attention was given to the Namangan and Tashkent Textile Institutes, where we discussed opportunities for collaboration in education and workforce training. These educational institutions play a key role in preparing specialists for the textile industry, and we are confident that our cooperation will help improve the quality of education and expand opportunities for students.
Each meeting was filled with interesting ideas and constructive proposals. We emphasized the importance of intercultural exchange and collaboration, which can significantly accelerate the development of the industry.
We would like to express our gratitude to all our partners for their warm hospitality and openness to collaboration. We look forward to taking further steps towards joint development and implementing new ideas in the textile sector that will benefit not only our organizations but the entire republic as well.
