Marketing and Communication Workshops Successfully Conducted for the Staff of the Uztextileprom Association

On June 22-26, as part of the GUZ Partners project implemented by Gesamtmasche and the Uztextileprom Association, a series of seminars on marketing and communication were held for employees of the Uztextileprom Association with the participation of international expert Mr. Sven Eriskat.

The workshops provided an opportunity for specialists from the Association’s Marketing and Communication Department, together with representatives of other relevant departments, to exchange knowledge, discuss existing practices, and identify opportunities for further strengthening the Association’s marketing and communication activities.

During the first stage of the programme, Mr. Eriskat conducted a comprehensive review of the Association’s current marketing and communication activities, including campaign management, communication topics, events, internal coordination processes, and existing communication materials. Based on the findings and discussions with participants, a draft Marketing and Communication Action Plan (MCAP) was prepared.

The draft MCAP was subsequently presented during an interactive workshop attended by representatives from all relevant departments. Through constructive discussions and valuable feedback from participants, the document was further refined and enhanced. Particular attention was given to strengthening approaches to social media communication, website management, printed publications, and internal communication tools, contributing to the development of a more structured and coordinated communication framework.

The workshops combined presentations with practical group exercises, enabling participants to exchange experiences and explore modern approaches to strategic marketing and digital communication. The outcomes of the programme are expected to support the Uztextileprom Association in further developing its communication activities in line with international best practices and strengthening its long-term marketing strategy.

As part of the expert’s visit, a meeting was also held with Mr. Bahtiyor Mukhammadsaidov, First Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with representatives of the GUZ Partners project and international expert Mr. Sven Eriskat.
The meeting focused on opportunities to support the international promotion of Uzbekistan’s textile and light industry sectors, particularly with regard to strengthening cooperation with European markets during the coming years. Discussions covered communication strategies, international positioning, market analysis, and marketing research as important components of future collaboration.

The meeting concluded with a shared intention to continue cooperation through the organization of training activities involving international experts, professional exchange visits and business meetings in Germany, as well as initiatives aimed at strengthening connections between Uzbek textile producers and European business partners.

The successful completion of the workshops reflects the shared commitment of all partners to strengthening institutional capacities and promoting sustainable international cooperation.
