As part of the Train the Trainer (TOT) program, systematically implemented by the GUZ Partners project, an event entitled “Modern Technologies for Dyeing and Finishing Textile Materials” was held on April 24, 2026, in Karshi and was aimed at strengthening the integration of science and production in this field.
Innovations in the textile industry: Seminar on modern dyeing and finishing technologies held in Karshi
In today’s global textile market, not only product quality but also resource efficiency and adherence to environmental standards are of paramount importance. For this purpose, the following training seminar was organized within the framework of the training of trainers (TOT) programs systematically implemented by the “GUZ Partners” project. The event, titled “Modern Technologies for Dyeing and Finishing Textile Materials,” held on April 24, 2026, in Karshi, aimed to strengthen the integration of science and production in the field.
This event was organized with the support of Gesamtmasche (Germany), in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kashkadarya region, the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI), and the “Uztekstilprom” Association. During the training, the main focus was placed on practical skills rather than theory. Participants studied the advanced experiences of the German textile industry.

One of the most successful aspects of the event was the close dialogue between industry representatives and scientists. Throughout the event, professors from TITLI provided practical recommendations to enterprise specialists on solving technical problems in real production environments. Such cooperation serves as a vital foundation for increasing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s textile products in the global market.
At the end of the event, participants who received certificates gained the opportunity to implement these new technologies within their own enterprises. This marks a significant step toward taking the industry to a new level and creating high-quality export products.
