On March 3-7, 2024, the Uztextileprom Association and Gesamtamsche are organizing a large-scale visit to Germany of employees of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, the Namangan Textile Institute, Fergana University, and the Margilan Vocational School within the framework of the GUZ Partners project.
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the methods of training specialists in the textile industry, in particular technologists, to transfer knowledge, exchange experience and know-how. The visit follows the visit of a delegation from Germany’s leading textile university Hochschule Albstadt to Uzbekistan.
The delegation will visit educational institutions in the cities of Münchberg, Albstadt, Stuttgart and Reutlingen, as well as key innovation centers such as the ABA Monocenter and the Technology Center.
It is important to note that the University of Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen actively supports the implementation of the project “School of Technologists of Germany”, which provides an opportunity to train highly qualified engineers and technologists for textile production in Uzbekistan.
In Uzbekistan, the region’s fully integrated textile value chain and growing consumer market offer a wide range of opportunities for new business relationships. The German Pavilion at the UzTextile Expo in Tashkent from 28 to 30 May 2024 is an excellent opportunity for German companies in the textile industry to establish contacts with customers, suppliers, sales and production partners.
