Two-day international seminar-training for textile specialists and women entrepreneurs held in Fergana
On August 18–19, 2026, in the city of Fergana, within the framework of the GUZ Partners project, implemented by the German Textile Industry Association Gesamtmasche and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa gGmbH, a practical seminar-training and masterclasses designed for textile industry specialists and women entrepreneurs were successfully held.
The two-day intensive program, combining theory and practice, was aimed at increasing the export potential of local enterprises in the international market, developing product competitiveness, and accelerating digital transformation.
On the first day of the theoretical and practical seminar, held at the textile company Forest Color LLC, the main emphasis was placed on the topic “Marketing & Export Development Strategy” for textile enterprises. During this day, our local expert Akmal Mirzayev covered the following main topics:
On the second day, practical workshops were conducted by local trainer Dildora Aliyeva on the topic “Modern Female Entrepreneurship: From Idea and Personal Brand to Digital Business, Sales, and New Markets”, where she spoke on the following main topics:
During the event, participants took part in interactive group work, receiving ready-made practical solutions and new partnership contacts for their enterprises. The seminar-training became an important impetus for taking the business operations of local manufacturers and women entrepreneurs to a modern level.
Within the framework of the project, a series of practical events aimed at improving human capacity and studying international experience in the field of textile and light industry will continue.

The GUZ Partners project team, acting as the local representative in Uzbekistan under the project implemented by the Gesamtmasche Association and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa gGmbH, alongside representatives of the Uztextileprom Association, took an active part in the exhibition. They held a series of productive meetings and negotiations with key players in Uzbekistan’s textile and garment industry. The central themes of CAITME 2026 were process automation, efficiency improvement, and environmental sustainability for textile enterprises, with a special emphasis on smart textile waste recycling technologies and circular economy principles.
