On May 18, 2026, the German Economy Day in Uzbekistan took place at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent, bringing together representatives of government institutions, international organizations, business associations, and leading German and Uzbek companies. The event served as an important platform for strengthening bilateral dialogue and discussing current priorities in economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
The program covered a broad range of strategic topics, including practical aspects of German business activities in Uzbekistan, investment opportunities, workforce development, vocational education, and prospects for long-term partnership expansion. Through panel discussions and expert exchanges, participants addressed current challenges and explored pathways for sustainable economic growth and international collaboration.
The event also provided a valuable opportunity for productive networking and professional dialogue among key stakeholders from both countries. Such initiatives play an important role in fostering mutual understanding, encouraging knowledge exchange, and strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
The GUZ Partners project team representative actively participated in the event, engaging in discussions and meetings with representatives of businesses and institutions.
